Miramalfi, a cherished family-owned gem in Amalfi, Italy, began in 1956 when Francesco Mansi unveiled his dream of a magnificent hotel perched above the sea to his wife. Francesco, who had achieved success in Mexico before returning to his hometown, named it Miramalfi, meaning “Look at Amalfi” in Spanish, perfectly capturing the breathtaking cliffside views. The hotel’s charm is evident in its family-oriented design, with the restaurant, Donna Emma La Cucina, named after Francesco’s wife, and the bar honouring his son, Mario. After Francesco’s wife managed the hotel until 2018, their grandson and his wife now continue the tradition of exceptional care and personalised service.
